Dear TA members,
We are going to do Amsterdam -%26gt; Brugge -%26gt; Paris -%26gt; in coming May. After checking from the Eurorail Canadian website, we found that we can get a 3 days local train pass at CAD222- per person, which allows you to travel unlimited times in any 3 days within one month. Also if you are the pass holder, you can buy a single international ride from Amsterdam -%26gt; Brussels / Brussels -%26gt; Paris at CAD21- per person/trip , w/o the pass it will be CAD79- each. I am wondering if anyone has the experience of using this pass before. I am not quite sure if I interpret the pricing system correct.
Also, do you think if this is the most economic, efficient way to plan our trip as below :
Amsterdam -%26gt; Brussels by Eurorail
Brussels -%26gt; Brugge / Brugge -%26gt; Brussels by B-Rail
Brussels -%26gt; Paris by Eurorail
Within Paris (Paris -%26gt; Avignon / Strasbourg / Marseille) bu using the 3 days Eurorail pass.
I am seeking your advice on this.
Many thanks in advance.

Thalys train between Brussels and Paris are not covered by rail pass but you get a discount. Dicounted fares are subject to availability though rarely sell out. Check out SNCF website for rail fares for your French destinations and see if they are good deals. Discount rail fares maybe available but they are typically non-refundable.
