Paris air

When I lived in Paris, people used to say to me that the Paris air is very tiring for people who aren%26#39;t used to it. Anyone experienced this?

Paris air can be a little polluted and humid. On a great day, there is no better air for a Paris lover!

Personally, I think the air in Paris is the most invigorating, energizing, life-giving, sweet-smelling blend of elements on the earth. It might not be as clean as some other places, but it sure does give me a boost like no other.

The air in Paris probably isn%26#39;t much better or worse than many other large urban envionments---though Paris does seem to monitor relative air quality more than most and issue alerts and wrnings.

But I suspect that since Paris is a city that seems more suited to walking from place to place than most, this may just be a euphemistic alibi for legs not quite conditioned to treking across hectares of pavement and scaling mountains of stairs during the course of a day out %26#39;n about.

Do you go to London? People think NYC is dirty, but only in London do I have the constant experience of blowing black stuff out of my nose the entire time I%26#39;m there!

Dont get me wrong, I love London, and have lived there, but that%26#39;s the only major non-Asian city where I feel dirty all the time! Never get that feeling in Paris (just look down wherever you walk!)

I find that the air in Paris always feels damp to me. And the dampness makes it feel colder than the temperature would seem. It may be cleaner than NYC%26#39;s where I live.
