London-Paris Eurostar

Hi all,

I am new to forum, but have gotten invaluable tips from here.

We are planning a last minute trip and along with that -- the stress.

Miami-London March 12th arrival

London-Paris same day 7 days

Paris-London March 19-22 3 days

My confusion lies in when to go to Paris. At the front end or the back end. My arrival and departure are from London. I am travelling with my parents and husband and don%26#39;t know if arriving into London, then trekking across city center to St. Pancras and getting on train is too much for them (fine for me). Or, if realistic, how do I plan with a 10:25am arrival. Is 2pm a realistic departure time?

I have thought about air, probably easier and cheaper to Paris, but parents are interested in the tunnel train travel. Any thoughts? Greatly needed!!

What about flying the London to Paris leg but returning to London via Eurostar.

Since you%26#39;re already at the airport, it will really be a waste of your holiday time to trek into central London just to catch the train.

Why don%26#39;t you fly to Paris, as you are the airport, and take the train back to London because you will want to be in the city centre?

Snap Mez. We both had the same idea - must be great.

Thanks for the help guys. If we did it the other way around, stay in London first, less first day travel stress.

But would need to come in day before departure bc of early flight.

We%26#39;re flying in to London, then taking a same-day flight to Paris. On the way back, we%26#39;re taking Eurostar to London, then staying one night before an early flight home. We priced the trips out and it was the same price to do this as it would have been to do RT on the train or a plane, at least for our dates.

Plus, since we have to come back the day before our flight back home, then - oh darn - we%26#39;re going to see a show in London the night before we leave. :)
