I%26#39;ve read that in Dijon bicycle is a common mean of transport. Are there rental companies or can we rent bikes from the roads with card as it happens in Paris and in other european cities?

Hi

We also want to hire bikes in Dijon for a weeks self guided cycling holiday in May 2008. We would need hybrid bikes with pannier racks so we can arrive by train from London with our own panniers packed and ready to go.

Did you get any joy finding suitable bikes to hire please?

In a few days you%26#39;ll be able to rent bikes like in Paris.

Their name is Velodi and there will be 400 bikes to rent in more than 30 spots in Dijon. They will be inaugurated on the 29th of Feb (next Friday) place de la Libération, in front of the Ducal Palace. :-)
