"A Good Year" movie venue

Can anyone tell me the name of the town where Russell Crowe and Marion Cotillard watch the outdoor movie?

It%26#39;s the village of Cucuron. Spent 2 weeks based there last May. There was no movie, but there was %26quot;jousting%26quot; in the pond.

A lovely village. They have their market day around the the pond every Tuesday.

Hi yes it is Cucuron, but unfortunatley it looks very different to in the film.....but is still a nice village. The restaurant where she worked in the film is in Gordes and is very much worth a visit

No, I am not sure of the name but if you are travelling by car up to Gordes, there is a car park on your left before you get in to the village. if you park there and walk up to the village (about 5 mins) and not too steep, there is a Hotel on your right which we think was used as the Notaires Office in the film when he went to hear his Uncles will.

Carry on walking up to the little roundabout and there is a restaurant with lots of flower boxes outside which overlooks the roundabout on the left. Walk to the right of the roundabout and down a little slope and there is a raised up Square on your left with the restaurant with outside tables and that we think is the one used in the film.

Gordes is a great place to visit and there is a bar on your right as you walk round off the roundabout which from the front doesnt look exciting but walk to the back and they have a very small terrace with fab views, lovely for a aperitif.
