Beauvais airport

We are flying to Dublin from the above airport on a Sunday in July. What is the best way to get there?

You%26#39;ll have to take a taxi or metro to Porte Maillot in Paris. That%26#39;s where the Ryanair shuttle bus will pick you up. You need to arrive at Porte Maillot 3 hours and 15 minutes prior to your flight since Beauvais is about an hour away and you need to check in about 2 hours early. The shuttle is easy and inexpensive. You%26#39;ll just buy the tickets right on the bus.

As noted previously, Departures from The BVA Shuttle pick-up point near Port Maillot, tend to be three(3) hours prior to your scheduled flight%26#39;s departure time.

So even if you check in online you have to go on the shuttle that leaves that early?

Well, theoretically you don%26#39;t have to. If you want to make your way to Beauvais yourself. The shuttles are timed with Ryanair flights. And the shuttle leaves Porte Maillot in Paris 3 hours prior. The next shuttle likely won%26#39;t be leaving Paris until 3 hours before the next flight, which is likely several hours later. Does that make sense? You could always make alternate arrangements to Beauvais if you don%26#39;t want to take the shuttle.

In practice...NO...you can take a later shuttle. But since there is no fixed schedule (as in 1-every 15-30-minutes) it would depend on the schedules of departing flights.

You also need to bear in mind that the average driving time out to BVA is approx 70 mins....and though BVA is a much smaller and less frequented airport, it won%26#39;t be as prone to airline check-in and security delays.

BUT...YOU and YOU ALONE...are responsible for getting to the airport with sufficient time in hand to clear airport departure formalities. Arrive at BVA late(r), for whatever reason, and the burden is all on YOU. It%26#39;s best NOT to get %26#39;..cute..%26#39; with later departures from Paris.
