Best Escargots

Will be in Paris this April and would like to hear from fellow travelers about the best Escargots they%26#39;ve eaten in Paris. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Hands down: Fouquet%26#39;s on the Champs Elysees. I normally don%26#39;t spend much time near the CE, but always make an exception for Fouquet%26#39;s escargots.

There%26#39;s a tiny bistro on rue Marché St-Honoré, %26quot;Au Bistro%26quot; that serves the the best Escargot we%26#39;ve had in Paris. It%26#39;s southwestern cuisine and the way they serve escargot is wonderful. They carve out a baking potato, fill it with butter and escargot (and their own special magic) and bake it. The result is special and completely worthwhile. Lunches only and arrive by noon if you want to be seated. It%26#39;s tiny and popular with the locals.
