Has anyone taken a tour of Rungis market by booking through the market website? I have sent in a request for the tour in March and have not heard back from anyone yet or even received a confirmation of my request. I would prefer not to pay a private guide so any hints on another way to contact these folks would be appreciated.

I also sent a request a little over a year ago and never got a response. I%26#39;m anxious to hear how to get onto this list.

rosepoint: Here%26#39;s a website, if you haven%26#39;t already found it, of one person%26#39;s %26quot;adventure%26quot; inside the market .... near the end, there%26#39;s info on how to get in to the market ....

Bonne chance, bonne route et surtout bon appétit!

Evidently the tours of Rungis Markets are only offered on the 2nd Friday of the month...and only if they get a minimum of 20 requests for a tour. So your request has probably just been added to the queue at this point. When they make up the minimum number, they send you a return e-mail with a confirmation and details. In any event, you should probably try e-mailing them again with your request for confirmation.
