barcelona to cannes to florence

Hi

Can anyone tell me if i can get to Cannes from Barcelona by train and if so how long it takes?

Me and 2 friends are travelling round europe with an InterRail pass in August and want to visit Cannes on our way to Florence.

Similarly - can anyone tell me if i can get to Florence from Cannes by Train and how long it takes? (We may try and incorporate stop off in Monaco as distance looks far on a map)

Any help is much appreciated

Cannes to Monaco takes about an hour on a fast train
