disabled shopping

Hi Im disabled and cant walk far, I am going with my grandson to calais via sea france.

we are going as foot passengers irroncically.

I am wondering if there is a shopping centre withing walking distance from the port, if so can anyone give me directions.

I have found that this website gives good information about shopping, duty free and getting around in Calais. I hope it gives you a start:

Walking distance from the port a definite 100% no there isn%26#39;t, however if you can manage the bus from the port to the Gare SNCF (railway station) which costs about a quid I think you are now in town and on the main road through Calais.

Turn right out of the station and head up Bd Jacquard there are shops both sides of the road and at the intersection with Bd Lafayette at the theatre is the 4B shopping centre, this is a new smaller complex on 2 levels.

If you are feeling up to it and have plenty of time from the theatre which is also the bus terminus you can catch a bus to the Cité Europe
