My husband and I are planning a trip to the French Riviera in July. We are staying in St. Tropez for 4 nights and in Nice for 3 nights. We have one more night and I wanted to stay between the two places. Any recommendations? We will have a car.

Cannes is a good choice if you are wanting to stay between St Tropez and Nice.
The drive between the two along the coast road with views of the Esterel is beautiful and the roads shouldn%26#39;t be too congested if you are travelling before mid July.
Don%26#39;t know your budget, but take a look at the Trip Advisor reviews for recommendations and then do a trawl of the comparison websites for prices. A personal favourite for its location and value for money is the Hotel de Provence.
Some hotels have their own car parks or there are several public underground ones .Car parking is free at street level after 7pm and all day on Sundays .
Enjoy your trip

As you have a car I%26#39;d suggest going inland to Mougins, Valbonne or Vence. Happy to help further once I know your budget.

Thankyou. I was hoping to stay around $250/night. It may be tough given the exchange rate and I would consider paying more.

Here are three suggestions:

(we%26#39;ve stayed here many times - pity about ghastly website)

Check out %26quot;Hotels %26amp; Accomodations%26quot; on the left of your screen to get TA reviews of hotels in Cannes. The top-rated Hotel Renoir looks good. I hope it is as we%26#39;ll be staying there soon and at a much better rate than indicated.

Thankyou for your responses. I will check these hotels.
