Bakeries / tea houses in Paris

I will be visiting Paris in April, and will make a point of sampling some of the divine pastries as I walk around the city. Can anyone recommend a shop that sells particularly toothsome confections? Merci!

La bonboniere de la Trinite (metro Trinite on line 12) rue Blanche is a place I travel to.

For an accent on the tea, on our last visit we bought some tea at Mariage Frères on the rue de Bourg Tibourg. They also have a small area set aside to sample tea and pastries.

Prior to the trip either check your local library or buy: %26quot;Paris Boulangerie Patisserie%26quot; by Linda Dannenberg. It was reprinted a couple of years ago so it should be available.

The book profiles about the top dozen of each of the boulangeries and patisseries.
