Arranging tour IN Paris?

I am interested in taking one or more days trips while in Paris, and I would like to use a local tour company (ParisVision, Cityrama, etc.). So far in my research, it seems that most require you to book your excursions BEFORE you get to Paris, but I would like to know of companies that allow you to arrange a tour once you%26#39;re there (with a day or two notice). Do these companies accept short-notice bookings also? Any other recommendations for companies that do?

I think you%26#39;ll be fine booking in Paris. If you are staying at a hotel, your concierge can help you. Even the small hotels have information regarding tours and sightseeing.

We actually are staying in an apartment (there are 5 of us), so unfortunately we won%26#39;t have the resources of a hotel. Hence why I%26#39;m trying to figure things out as much as possible before we leave!
