Good Morning TA people
Good Afternoon My Friends in France
This is the hotel our tour group is using for 2 nights, However no where on TA can I find it and that kinda worries me. Yes, you may say, but your in PARIS, your right, however when your traveling with 50 people all but 8 teenagers, when it comes time to lay your head down or start your morning with coffee you really want to know what to expect so PLEASE if anyone can give me some info on this hotel and the surrounding area, Why I%26#39;d kiss your grits! Both Cheeks as my dad would say.

This hotel has been reviewd on TA. type in Mercure and it is listed as Mercure Porte de Versailles. The write up isnt bad at all!

As noted, the hotel will be an perfectly acceptable, medium-sized, business/tourist class property..of the sort popular with packaged tour groups and business travelers...more for it%26#39;s convenience to Périphérique on/off ramps and auto-routes and tour bus parking or proximinity to exhibition/convention centers...than it%26#39;s proximity to the %26#39;..Paris..%26#39; most tourists come to visit.

Hi,
I stayed in this hotel for one night a couple of years ago. It was fine, what you would expect from a Mercure (adequate rooms, clean, pleasant staff), nothing really outstanding about it but nothing wrong with it - don%26#39;t really think you have anything to worry about. You are not right in the centre of Paris but you are very close to Porte de Versailles metro which will take you into the centre of Paris quickly without changing, there are also a few buses that leave from there. You will find a few cafes and bars within a couple of minutes walk directly across from the entrance to Porte de Versailles exhibition halls.
Hope this helps

It%26#39;s not the most romantic or historic part of Paris but it%26#39;s a nice area. There are plenty of Parisian neighborhood boulangeries, patisseries and epiceries a couple of blocks to the north and the Metro line-12 connection to the city center is good. The transportation options are very good, the T3 tram being just out your front door and that makes for a very inexpensive and convenient connection to the airports and the center of Paris and particularly Versailles. Transportation to the center of the city is the big issue and that location is one of the best in the outer Arrondissements. You shouldn%26#39;t worry.

Thank you so much everyone, I%26#39;m going to look at the Hotel reports of this hotel here on TA now.
