We are travelling to Paris in October. We are 3 families. One with 2 adults and 3 youngsters 15, 12 and 9. One with 2 adults and 2 youngsters 19 and 13 and one with 2 adults.
I have had excellent help from here for hotels in London and Hong Kong
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good apartment hotel or just a good family hotel for us in Paris? We would prefer to be relatively central
Thanks :)

use the search function at the top right of this forum and type in %26quot;large central apartment%26quot; or various other things. One that came up for a family of 9 people is:
tripadvisor.com/…9628847
There were others too. Good luck.

Our group of 14 will be staying at the Citadines St. Germain des Pres- this is an aparthotel which provides a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker and is near Notre Dame. I%26#39;ll post my impressions after our trip in 2 weeks.

I%26#39;d also recommend Citadines. It%26#39;s unlikely you%26#39;ll get adjacent apartments given the number of people in your party but you%26#39;re more likely to end up all in the same building. There are Citadines all over Paris. We%26#39;ve stayed in most of the Paris Citadines and can confidently recommend them.

Check out www.vacationinparis.com. They offer two apartments in the same building that house 5 and 6 people. They are %26quot;Place Victoires%26quot; and %26quot;Louvre%26quot; units. I have never used this organization but they get high marks from most on this forum. Moms

I am re-reading your post. This may not work as the couple would have to stay with the family of 4. That may be too much for them (I know it would have been for DH and I prior to having children!) Sorry about that, I should read the posts better! Moms

Hi Moms
thanks for your help. We are looking for 3 separate apartments. I love my family and friends dearly but appreciate some %26quot;me%26quot; time when I am travelling too ;) We are the couple and don%26#39;t have kids, nor will we. I am so looking forward to the looks on the kids%26#39; faces though!

Try guestapartmentservices.com They are gorgeous, some are on the Seine, some apartments connect.
JUST LOOK. If you want a connected apartment look under 3 bedroom. They have dining rooms, full kitchens, very romantic fireplaces and the staff will do anything for you. If you find something you really like, no matter where, I would consider paying full fee now as the Euro/Us dollar will keep going up, up up.
parisparfect.com is another favorite apartment service of mine. There are more out there than you can imagine. Have a ball looking. Try to get one with a terrace and working fireplace, In Oct, its so romantic!

Hi
Thanks susan. That%26#39;s a great help. Luckily the dollar going down is to our advantage! We are in New Zealand and last time we travelled as a group our dollar bought about 60c US and that looked good! Now it is close to 80c US.
I%26#39;ll check out those great suggestions you made
Thanks :)

Princess, I am fairly exited. I think that I found what I believe to be a very good apartment for you and your extended family. RENTAL AGENT; PARIS PERFECT.COM
APARTMENT NAME; GIGONDAS BEDROOMS; 5 BATHROOMS; 41/2
THERE ALSO ARE 2 COUCHES. COST; 4500 E PER WEEK HAS A BEAUTIFUL TERRACE. I would love it if you took a look and told ME what you think of it. With 3 families
bringing thr price down, it makes it a little more
reasonable. Views of the E.T. are all over and there is plenty of room for the children. It%26#39;s almost made for children! Anyway PLEASE LOOK, READ AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL.

I don%26#39;t usually sob hystericaly if I don%26#39;t get my way@
