Needs restaurants recommendation in Nice

Hi I am organising a dinner for 150 people in Nice. Any recommendation? Thank you.

Well, what sort of food are you thinking of? How long is dinner? When? Where are you staying? Do you want t0 be able to walk %26quot;home%26quot;? What sort of cost per head/wine?

Please, try to post something that the experts can deal with. This is way, way, too general.

Our budget is 70/per head including drinks and dinner. Preferably buffet. We are willing to travel by bus from the hotel located in Promenade des Anglais.

I don%26#39;t know of anyplace that does a buffet unless you arranged something in a hotel ballroom. Brasserie Flo is a good place to go with a group but your group might be too large. But I%26#39;d check with them to see.

If you%26#39;re going during the summer months, then perhaps have a look at hiring a beach restaurant for your event. Private beaches like the %26#39;Blue Beach%26#39; and %26#39;Castel Plage%26#39; have restaurants attached and I reckon would be perfect for the numbers you mention. Blue beach often hosts functions, small musical events etc in the evening and I%26#39;ve seen similar things going on at Castel Plage. I would try Blue Beach first. Not sure where you%26#39;re staying on the Prom, it%26#39;s several miles long, but Blue Beach restaurant/plage is just about opposite the Negresco Hotel.

My french isn%26#39;t great but there%26#39;s info on the home page that mentions being avaialable for functions, weddings, buffets etc so that sounds promising.

Thank you for your suggestions. I guess we ended up having dinner in the hotel or just renting a private place in the neighborhood. The number group is so big and no such restaurant can really accommodate the group. Quiet hard to find a restaurant for such a big group. Thanks again.

It must be possible to find somewhere, DeKlompen - you are giving up too soon.

There must be places who cater for large functions like weddings, as this is a working/living city.

If you provide more information like the date/dates you are looking for, then the experts will be able to advise you better.

Have just done a quick search on google and suggest you look for %26quot;Banquet%26quot; or %26quot;Banqueting%26quot; %26quot;Cote d%26#39;Azur%26quot; or %26quot;France%26quot; as well as %26quot;Nice%26quot;.

There are many places that could cater what you want, for example the Holiday Inn, though I don%26#39;t know prices or what they%26#39;re like.

Well I%26#39;m not easily giving up - I%26#39;m just running out of time. It will be in 5th April. Since January I%26#39;m trying to surf in the internet without any sucess. That%26#39;s why I seek help with this forum.

Obviously you should check the recommendations given earlier by the experts, as they are the experts!

But have been looking for you, (though I presume you have found this information also if you%26#39;ve hunted so long):

Have no idea what they%26#39;re like or if they have availability but have found:

Le Meridien Hotel, 1 Promenade des Anglais - they have a few rooms and the Biot has banqueting capacity for 150 people.

Gounod Hotel has banqueting facilities but don%26#39;t know for how many.

Same with Hotel Choiseul and many other hotels you could try contacting if you haven%26#39;t as I don%26#39;t know how many they cater for.
