We are celebrating my birthday in Paris and it happens to fall on a Sunday. Any suggestions for fine dining (Euro 75-100 pp) on a Sunday? If we can%26#39;t work that, any suggestions for a Saturday evening- also fine dining.

Hi, I had a lovely celebration meal on a Sunday at Guy Savoy%26#39;s La Butte Chaillot in the 16th. We went for lunch, but I see from the website that it%26#39;s open on Sunday evening as well. Sunday lunch is a nice time for a special meal, a lot of families go out to lunch together (after church, allegedly).

Hi! If you want a special dining avoiding great michelin-starred restaurants, I recommend the Ze-kitchen Galerie, located near the Pont-Neuf.
This is their website: www.zekitchengalerie.fr
I wish you a wonderful experience in Paris!

I%26#39;ve been doing some research on this very same subject as we have an anniversary coming up which
also falls on a Sunday. Here are a few suggestions:

Tracey - Mon Vieil Ami at 69, rue St-Louis-en-l%26#39;Isle is owned by Michelin 3-star Wasserman from strasbourg. The restaurant is open on Sundays; tel. 01.40.46.01.35.
Gianny - The 2008 Michelin Guide came out today and Ze Kitchen Galerie is now a one-star restaurant.
Pierre Gagnaire (very expensive), 6 rue Balzac in the 8th; 01.44.35.18.25 is one of the few gastronomic houses that%26#39;s open on Sundays.

Our Sunday supper in Paris was at Cafe de la Paix - just beautiful!
As mentioned above, we also ate at Laperouse - very charming and I think that would be special as well.
Have a wonderful time!

Although this was many years ago, I remember a special place I can suggest - Bofinger, brasserie in the heart of the Marais, famous for its history, very Parisien decor and fabulous glass domed ceiling. It was a while ago since I checked it out again(online), but there is a web site http://www.bofingerparis.com where you can also do your booking online.
Have a fabulous time!
