Paris to Grasse or Aix

I%26#39;ll be traveling to France in April to meet up with a friend. She%26#39;ll be traveling around the south of France and I%26#39;ll meet up with her in either Grasse or Aix. As an American who does not speak French, I%26#39;m curious to what is the smoothest way to get to her. I can meet her in either Grasse or Aix. Which destination do you think is easier to travel to by train, and which station is easiest to navigate? Thanks in advance!

Let me expand on my above post. My friend will be traveling to Grasse and then Aix. I would love to join her earlier rather than later, but if its not an easy trip to Grasse, then I%26#39;ll save myself the hassle and arrive later in Aix.

From looking at maps, Grasse seems off the major roads and railways, so I%26#39;m getting the feeling that Aix is easier to get to. But just how much work would it be to get to Grasse?

Grasse itself is not a extremely compelling visit and it is probably more difficult to reach that is Aix en Provence.

Unless you have particularly keen on reaching Grasse, I should stay with the simpler choice of Aix.
