Foire du Trone - has anybody been to it?

I am looking for people who have been in previous years - what your experience was, if you would recommend spending the few hours to take it all in. Is it just rides, or are there craft and food stalls, etc? Thanks in advance for your input!

I went in 2001 - it was all rides and the usual %26#39;fair%26#39; food, no craft stalls.

I wouldn%26#39;t substitute it for other top interests. That was about our 6th or 7th trip to Paris.

Thanks again, Travelnutty! That really helps; we were hoping for more of an %26quot;intimate cultural experience%26quot;; we will definitely skip it and stick to our must-sees.
