Rental Car Return at CDG - Help Needed

Hi. My husband and I will be returning a rental car at CDG on June 14 to the Europcar lot. I have looked on-line for maps of CDG and where the rental return lots are, but no luck. Is there anyone out there who has done this, and if so, how does it work? Is it like returning a car here, and we will just see signs for the return lots? We will not have a lot of time to get it wrong, so I want to undrstand this in advance of going.

I think there are return areas under more than one terminal, but I know there are multiple ones (at least Avis and Hertz) under Terminal 2. But, getting there isn%26#39;t easy! Once you actually get into the loop that goes by the terminals, I think you will be able to just follow signs (you obviously want to be on the lower level, not the arriving passenger pickup level).

Your main concern will be making sure you go to Terminal 1 (Aerogare 1) which has the US airline gates. When you enter from the highway you will see signs For Aerogare 1 and then for car rental returns and then the individual agencies, pretty much like in US. Remember Aerogare 1.

First time, I went to wrong terminal and it did have a return but was a hassel andhad to take bus to Term. 1. Pull up CDG on google map and plan ahead.

There is probably no airport in the world with an easier car return than CDG. I am going to direct you to Aerogare 2 where American, Continental, Delta, and Northwest airlines depart. The rental return is in the middle, between terminal 2A and 2B or between 2C and 2D. Just follow the signs.

If you are traveling on United or US Airways you%26#39;ll leave your car at terminal 1. The Europcar return is clearly marked. If you some reason you need to return your car at terminal 3, there is also a Europcar lot there.

It will probably be in your best interest to find out from which terminal you will be departing.

Sarastro, Thanks for your information. We will be leaving from Aerogare 2 (Air India to Newark from 2C). Is there a Europcar lot in Aerogare 2? You say it is easy to find, so I am sure it will be. I am just concerned that we notr spend endless time driving in circles. Thanks!

I can confirm that it%26#39;s very very easy to drop cars at Europcar.
