Can we visit Villa Ephrussi and Villa Kerylos by public transport from Menton or from Nice?

I suspect you can get the number 100 bus (Nice-Menton) and get to the Villa Ephrussi, but do check that out as I am not certain.

Also, try posting on the Nicwe forum for buses as there are lots of people who know their stuff really well on there :-)

There was another thread about this recently. The #100 bus is a regional bus that will get you to the town nearest the two villas. There is a bus stop near Villa Kerylos. (Suggest that you check their website.)
From there you can take the local bus to the bottom of the drive to Villa Ephrussi but the local bus does not run on Sunday.
If you like to walk, you can walk between the two.
Or, the person at reception at Villa Kerylos, will call you a taxi to take you to Villa Ephrussi. In May 2007 the charge was 10 euro for three of us.
When you are ready to leave Villa Esphrussi, they will call you a taxi.
Enjoy your visit. I thought it was worthwhile to pay extra to see the upper story at Villa Ephrussi. Also, check the time that the tearoom is open if you want to get something to eat or drink there. We waited too late and were disappointed.
