Explorers Hotel - Disneyland Paris

Just a quick question please? Family of 5 Grandmother, 2 Parents one 7 year old and one toddler

travelling to Disneyland Paris on Sunday.

Just wondering what to expect from hotel in particular. Grandmother is diabetic and she is wondering if there are tea/coffee making facilities in rooms? Or does anyone know if this can be arranged.

2nd what is food like in hotel or is it better to eat out.

What time does shuttle bus travel until? If were to eat in Village.

Looking forward to your replies - thank you

Hi - you should be able to get a tea/coffee basket from reception (not sure on price) and kettle. But in most hotels these are on a first come first served basis - if in any doubt that you need them I would take your own travel kettle and a plastic mug.

The hotel restaurant is fine - we also got take out pizza from there one night and enjoyed that but obviously there is a lot more choice in the Disney village.

Shuttles run till fairly late so you shouldn%26#39;t have any problems getting back from the village - I don%26#39;t think they run till nightclub chucking out time though so if Grandma is planning on clubbing you might want to take that into account ;-)

Hi --

E-mail the hotel and advise them of Gram%26#39;s condition and that she will require tea/coffee facilities. If they know ahead of time, it will be easier for them to accommodate you.

Additionally, take Gram%26#39;s favourite tea/coffee with you - sometimes the hotel stuff tastes like floor wax or some other equally terrible thing.

BTW, here we often use crackers (soda biscuits) and orange juice in order to drive a diabetic%26#39;s blood sugar up when necessary. You might want to pack whatever snack you might need in the case of Gram suffering low blood sugar, so you don%26#39;t have to scramble for it on arrival and waste valuable holiday time.

Bon voyage.
