Staying at CDG

Hi,

I%26#39;m going to be in France in July. I%26#39;ll be staying in Paris for several days, going to the Loire valley and then returning to catch my flight out of CDG. I was thinking that it would be way easier to stay at a hotel near the airport. Anyone know of any good, safe, cheap hotels?

If you are flying out of terminal 2, you should stay at the Sheraton, it is in the terminal with access to the train and all terminal 2 gates without going outside

Let me suggest that you try Priceline and bid on a 4*. That way you are guaranteed good - and as cheap as you can get the place for. My friends are flying early out of CDG in May and got the airport Hilton for $122!! Yes that is dollars not euros!

You also can use hotels.com (I have) for CDG hotels. In addition, there are several budget hotel chains you would recognize, such as Holiday Inn Express. Let me suggest, however, doing that only for the night before your flight. Consider getting a hotel in the center of Paris for the rest of your stay, as you will enjoy that a lot more than going back and forth from the airport every day you are there and it will allow you do to things like walk to sites you want to see, walk to/from dinner, etc.
