paris honeymoon

We are going on our honeymoon in auagust and was wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel. We were looking at the Hotel du Louvre. Is it a good spot to explore paris.

Hi, I see your question is about Paris, but, you have posted it under Jean-Cap-Ferrat forum, which means many people who only look on the Paris forums will not see it. I suggest you repost in the Paris forum.

Do you know how to find the hotel review section on here, .. in case you don%26#39;t.. first, go to Paris forums. Then, on left hand side of page click on hotels and accomadations ,, up will pop the reveiws. They are very helpful. I also just go on my google and type in the hotel name and the word reviews and read reviews on the hotel posted on other sites.

I have looked at Hotel du Louvre and thought it looked pretty nice, and I have stayed in the area, but, its not my favorite arrondissmont( it is in # 1) I prefer 5th or 6th, which have some nice smaller street areas filled with little cafes and shops). The first arronddismont is nice though, obviously close to Lourve and walking distance to Champs Elysees( I don%26#39;t really like shopping ) and Arc D%26#39;Triomphe.

Also in first, but, if you can get a Tuilleries View room ,, go for it,, is the Hotel Brighton.. the view rooms have incredible views.. don%26#39;t bother if you can%26#39;t get a view room though. Also, you are lucky in one respect, hotels often have special lower rates for August,, so you may get some deals, look for it when you go on the hotel websites.. ( %26quot;Promotions%26quot;, or %26quot;L%26#39;ete Promotions%26quot; means sales, or summmer sales)
