How to get from Villenueve Les Avignon to Arles

We will be spending just 3 nights in Villenuve Les Avignon this March - next Wed actually, and would like to visit Arles, what is the easiet way to get there and how far.

My husband is slightly disabled so cannot walk too far.

There is direct train service from Avignon center station to Arles, no changes, takes about 40 minutes.

Easier to get the details here than off the French site:

but easier to buy from the SNCF office when you%26#39;re there...

I%26#39;ve got a similar question. In late September we will travel (via TGV I assume) from Paris to Arles. Will we need to take a taxi from the Avignon TGV station to the Avignon regular train station and then on to Arles? This does sound cumbersome. Is there possibly a bus from the Avignon TGV station to Arles? I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;s too far. Thanks for any advice.
