Best Beach

Interested to find out , the best beach - between Perpignon and Narbonne area - and facilities

All beaches between Perpignan and Narbonne are sandy.

What is %26quot;the best%26quot; for you? night life, family life, sailing, public transportation, camping grounds, villas?

Think I wrote my message incorrectly. Facilities I mention are on/near beach e.g. cafes. W.C. parking. We will be renting a villa in the Corbieres area. And off course looking forward to it.

It depends where in the Corbieres ! :-)

If you are near Narbonne, I suggest Gruissan, Narbonne-Plage, La Franqui.

If you are closer to Perpignan, then Canet, Saint Cyprien, Sainte-Marie, Torreilles, Le Barcarès, Port-Leucate.

You will not have any problems finding cafés and restaurants.

In Canet which I know well, there are free showers on the beach and paying public toilets on the water front.

Parking in July or August is difficult unless you are prepared to walk a little and leave your car in one of the side streets. There are paying parking lots in Canet as well as a big underground garage.

South of Argelès the coast becomes rocky.
