narbonne plage / gruissan?

hi

we are flying into carcassone for 1 week , in august. at the moment we are looking for accomodation and i would love some advice. we would like a beach holiday with activites and a nice village. we will be hiring a car. would you advise either norbonne plage gruissan or another area ? we are a family of 4 ( 2 teenagers )

Personally I prefer Gruissan (the old village is very picturesque).

They are not very far from each other and both have a lot of activities for teenagers in summer.

My favorite is La Franqui near Leucate but your children might find it too quiet and out of the way.

You will have plenty of space on the beach judging by our experiences last year. Leucate Plage and Narbonne Plage were virtually empty.

You will have a nice family holiday. Gruissan is probably quite lively.
