Looking for small boutique type hotel or Inn in city center

I would like to stay in Amboise in the city center in some cozy small hotel or Inn. Is there such?

Have found hotel de Blason and Le Vinci Loire. However I was hoping for something right off the main street. And is mid September a good time?

Any input?

We had a very pleasant stay at the boutique hotel you mention; %26quot;Hotel le Blason%26quot;. It is a very easy 2 block walk to city center plus the hotel has a very good restaurant within (not many in Amboise) and the staff are most congenial, very helpful and they mantain the hotel nicely, as well. A good pick.

p.s. ------ yes, mid-September is a good time.
