I%26#39;m travelling to France this summer with my 12 year old daughter. I%26#39;m having a problem finding a budget hotel with good reviews. Can anyone recommend one, ideally centrally located or near ther RER as we will be going to EuroDisney?

First, you need to be specific on what is %26quot;budget%26quot; to you. Second, do you feel that you will require Air-Cond for summer stay?

Pink, the Lux Hotel Picpus is a good deal at under $100 per night. It%26#39;s not near the RER, but it%26#39;s right across from a subway station that connects to the RER Ligne B, so it is convenient. Also, the large Nation metro station is a couple blocks away for more easy connections to RER.
Picpus is in the 12th arr., on the west side of the city, and it%26#39;s a very pretty neighborhood. Quaint hotel. We stayed a few years ago and we%26#39;re staying there again next week. My in-laws live in France, and this is where they stay when they visit Paris.

Why not stay in one of the Disney hotels and travel into the centre of Paris by train? It only takes about 40 minutes and is a comfortable journey. The location close to the parks and Disney Village will be perfect for your 12 year old. We have just done this with our 16 year old and it was very successful.
You will probably get a better budget hotel at Disney than in the centre of Paris. We have tried the Dream Castle and Holiday Inn which were both good hotels, with a free shuttle to the park and the railway station.

Pink , don%26#39;t stay at Disneyland, it is only good for a day or two and then you are stuck out there.
What is a budget hotel to you??? There are many hotels that I consider budget hotels , and I am booking rooms for my daughter( also a 12 yr old) and I for this July also, and I have found serveral .
I have booked Hotel Eugenie in the 6th, close to RER and Metro St Michel, very good location. It was 120 a night with a/c.
I am also trying to book at the Hotel Des Ecoles, but they only book 3 months out so I can%26#39;t book for my dates yet.
I have also booked at Hotel Des Grands Hommes, 120 includes breakfast, I have them booked for end of July( we are doing a week in Paris, then a two week tour through Italy, then 3 more days in Paris) .
I have also stayed at Hotel Des Mines, 2 years ago, it was 90 euros a night then. Clean , nice staff, small rooms, but had a/c and was near Metro and RER Luxembourg.
You really should try to book soon as the cheap rooms go fast.
Do not use any booking agency, I always book online and fuss with dates to get best prices. Did you know that many hotels offer best summer prices in August, play with dates online and you will see it is so.

Thanks everone for your help. It%26#39;s good to get recommendations for hotels when you%26#39;ve never been somewhere before.
Thanks guys
