Is Beaulieu a good base to explore both monaco and Nice?
Also..How late do tax%26#39;s run in Monaco? If we were to enjoy a dinner and some nightlife would we be able to get back to Beaulieu?

As its half way between clearly both are equally accessible. Beaulieu however is a rather quiet select town with not that much going on. You might be better placed in Nice as the travel hub, from where you can easily take a train or bus to Monaco and Beaulieu but also to three hundred other destinations. More flexibility.
Taxis run usually until 2:00 am but expect to pay stiffly. Dining out in Monaco - the last train back through Beaulieu is around midnight

Hi,
yes, Beaulieu is a good place between both cities. Others are Eze and Eze-Village. Taxiservice from Monaco is 24h running and the night price is arround 50 euros one way.
When you come to MC dont forget your passport. It is nessecery to go into the main casino in Monte Carlo and - you can get a Monaco stamp in at the tourism boarder for free.

You%26#39;ve got a lovely typo when you talk about %26quot;tax%26#39;s%26quot;. You%26#39;ll think you%26#39;re paying a year%26#39;s taxes when you pay for a taxi in this area esp on a longish trip.
Beaulieu has a lovely bay and is about a 15 min walk round the bay to Cap Ferrat, also lovely and where many stars have homes. BUT you can easily %26quot;do%26quot; Beaulieu (or Villefranche the neighbouring and also lovely little town with bay) by bus or train from Nice.
If you are thinking of nightlifing in Nice; and it is good, it%26#39;s also great just sitting in Old Town over a long meal and drink (The French do NOT dine as quickly as in Miami!); take NiceLife%26#39;s advice and stay in Nice walking home at night and public transporting (which is excellent, cheap and frequent) by day.
