Many places will give you a good %26quot;steak frites%26quot; in Paris as long as you like your steak rare and at prices much better than in the UK. Look for an %26quot;entrecôte grillé%26quot; or %26quot;pavé de rumpsteak%26quot; for a good piece of beef.
I have enjoyed good steaks at Au Bon Coin in rue de la Collégiale in the 5th., L%26#39;Enfance de Lard on rue Guissard in the 6th., L%26#39;Époque on rue du Cardinal-Lemoine in the 5th. and Le Jardin d%26#39;Ivy on rue Mouffetard in the 5th..
Bon appetit!
