altitude 95 closed /any alternatives?

Hi all, Altitude 95 restaurant is closed from September to December %26#39;08. I%26#39;m in Paris from the 7th for one week.I had this as one of my must do%26#39;s in Paris. Can I please have some suggestions for something alternative or comparable,thanks.

G%26#39;Day! Jules Verne is upstairs from Altitude 95 but is much %26#39;fancier%26#39; and more costly BUT it is pretty special.....we made our reservations by sending a fax to the restaurant and then our concierge called and confirmed and we got a %26#39;corner%26#39; table by one of the big windows overlooking the Seine - it was grand.....

Where did you find the information that Altitude 95 would be closed for that time period?

We will be there for our first trip to Paris during that time period and (of course) want to see the Eiffel Tower and eat at the restaurants. We have tried calling (011) 9 33 1 76 64 1464 but no one answers.

I checked their web page and the closing dates are prominently diplayed.
